Who we are
Visit Essex MA is a free visitor guide to Essex, Massachusetts, created and maintained by volunteers of the Essex Historical Society and Shipbuilding Museum (EHSSM), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located at 66 Main Street, Essex, MA 01929.
We built this site because we love Essex and want more people to discover it. It is a community resource, not a commercial product.
What this site is
Visit Essex MA is an independently curated directory of businesses, attractions, and activities in Essex, MA. We compile information from publicly available sources including business websites, social media, and local knowledge.
