Great Marsh Brewing Company is Essex’s own brewery, named for the vast salt marsh that wraps around the town and shapes everything about life here on Cape Ann.

The beer is brewed on site in a 30-hectoliter brewery with a pilot lab for smaller experimental batches, and the tap list ranges widely, from a crisp German Pils and a classic Bavarian Hefeweizen to a hazy double-dry-hopped NEIPA and a roasty Vanilla Stout.

They have a range of all-natural, zero-sugar hard seltzers to round things out for those who want something lighter.
