Named for the old cider mill that once stood on the site, The Mill is a breakfast, lunch, and prepared foods shop with deep roots in the Essex community.
Owners Josh and Caitlin Silverstein opened their doors on February 29, 2020, two weeks before the pandemic, and have been serving Cape Ann with homemade, honest food ever since.
The rotating daily menu covers soups, fresh salads, quinoa bowls, and prepared dinners to take home, with gluten-free options throughout. Everything is made from scratch by a team that genuinely loves the town they cook in.
